You saw the title. You clicked anyway.
I respect that about you.
Look, I tried to warn you. But since you are already here, you might as well keep scrolling. Just know that what you are about to see has been known to cause intense baby fever, unexpected conversations with your partner, and a sudden interest in newborn photography sessions in Louisville.
Do not say I did not warn you.

There it is. That look. You know the one.
The one where this big, strong person who probably cannot find anything in the refrigerator suddenly becomes the most careful, most gentle, most completely undone human being you have ever seen in your life. All because of eight pounds of baby.

I photograph a lot of families here in Louisville. And I have to be honest with you. The dads get me every single time. Every. Single. Time.
There is something about watching a father hold his newborn baby for the first time that makes everything else in the room disappear. I have cried behind my camera more times than I will ever admit professionally.

And then there are the dads with their older kids. The ones who are somehow holding a newborn and chasing a toddler and still managing to look at their partner like she hung the moon. Those ones are really dangerous.

Still doing okay? Still completely fine?
Sure.

Here is the thing nobody tells you before you have a baby. You think you know how much you are going to love this person you are building a life with. And then you watch them become a parent and you realize you had absolutely no idea.
That is what these photos are really about. Not just the baby. The whole beautiful, overwhelming, sleep deprived, completely worth it picture.

If you are expecting and you have not booked your newborn session yet, this is your sign. These days are so short and so sweet and they deserve to be documented by someone who genuinely loves this work.
I am booking newborn sessions in Louisville now and I would love to be your photographer. Spots fill up fast, especially around popular due date windows, so the sooner you reach out the better.
And if you are reading this and thinking about sending it to your partner as a hint, well. The share button is right there. I am just saying.
