I have been photographing quite a few older babies lately at the LWP Studio due to Covid-19 and I’m not even mad about it! Just look at precious little Ella and those beautiful features of hers- she was killing me with those long lashes & pouty lips!

The challenge with older babies and even toddlers is documenting them on their schedule. Catching them during their sleepy or hungry periods is never good for anyone. When I say I am flexible for you all, I mean it.

We had this sweet girl scheduled for an outdoor evening session and on her way to me she had a complete meltdown (she had been struggling with bouts of Colic). I encouraged her Mama to reschedule because I knew it wasn’t going to well for anyone. I never ever want your session to feel stressful and I’ll always do everything in my power to make sure it is enjoyable for all. Communication is everything and because of that we captured lots of beautiful family photos and these sweet sleepy photos of Ella at 3 months old.
